The Covid-19 emergency forces us to rethink corporate communication by facing the challenge of authenticity because "there is no time for photoshopped companies or for photoshop communication". Internal communication is becoming more important than before and must be in continuity with external communication. Remote work started massively in the lockdown is now receiving a new impulse and this strong sudden change is destined to redefine the relationship between employees and the company. Internal corporate communication must ensure the cohesion of its corporate community struggling with hybrid models of work between distance and physical coexistence.

 

The decisive challenge for the credibility and reputation of companies in the future lies in the ability of brands to embody and communicate a set of values ​​which are then expressed in the coherent way of being on the market, of relating to their customers and employees, of to measure up to the impacts of their business, to take their share of responsibility for the well-being of the community.

 

Motivating and involving is the must of internal communication, 88.5% of the interviewees stated that it will have to make employees feel part of a corporate community, which does not leave them alone in dealing with social, psychological and economic costs, minimizing the risk of leaving someone behind.

 

For 94.9% of the interviewees in the future, the tools and / or internal communication channels will have to be continuously updated and replaced. A boost to innovation that for 83.3% will make it necessary to develop new digital skills for professionals.

 

83.3% of respondents also believe that in the future the interweaving between internal and external communication will be stronger.
